Nestled away in Hatcher Pass, Alaska sits a historic mine “Independence Mine”. The location near Wasilla, Alaska is filled with history and is a major hot spot when it comes to residents and tourist. It has everything you could want including in the summer downhill mountain biking. If you’re looking for a single track to ride 16 mile is only a few hundred yards from Independence Mine. This time of year the fireweed flowers are in full bloom too so having the awesome scenery, great company and an amazing trail made for a pretty great episode.
